Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

DirectMailValidator ("we", "us", or "the site") operates directmailvalidator.com, a free web tool for checking postcard and direct-mail artwork against USPS size and mailability rules. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site and how it is handled. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information we do not collect

The validator runs entirely in your browser. The dimensions you enter, and any files you check, are processed on your device and are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, address, or payment information to use the free tool.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics may automatically record standard technical information such as your approximate region, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring site. This is used in aggregate to understand usage and improve the site. It is not used to personally identify you.

Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes:

  • Analytics — to measure traffic and how the tool is used (for example, Google Analytics). This helps us decide what to improve.
  • Advertising — this site may display ads served by third-party vendors, including Google. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Third-party advertising (Google AdSense)

When advertising is enabled, third-party vendors including Google use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can use the opt-out links above. Blocking cookies will not prevent the validator from working, since the tool itself does not rely on them.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for a general, professional audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
